English language schools prefer TEFL certified teachers who have taken a course that was a minimum of 100 hours with at least 6 hours of hands-on teaching experience. The TEFL Worldwide course is 124 hours and offers 8 to 10 hours of teaching practice. Application process
Your first step is to apply. In order to apply you must be a native English speaker or non-native with a high proficiency in English, have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 20 years old. There isn’t an application deadline as courses are filled on a first come first serve basis. You can apply on-line in 3 easy steps at: https://teflworldwideprague.com/TEFL-Application.html. The application process doesn’t cost anything or take long and we’ll process it within 1 to 2 working days. After you are accepted you can reserve your place on an available course by placing a non-refundable 350 Euro deposit. After you place your deposit we’ll reserve your housing for you and will be in touch with you regarding your next steps and arrival to Prague. Our courses are in high demand so try to apply as soon as you know that you’re interested.
