Job Details The Family Ski Company specialises in providing catered chalet holidays with a flexible programme of childcare. As a Chalet Cook you will love cooking and food presentation and have confidence to cook for up to 10 adults.
Chalet Cooks prepare all the meals in the chalet and join adult guests for their evening meal. Working alongside a Chalet Host you will provide breakfast, home-baked afternoon tea, children’s food and keep the kitchen clean. You will also go food shopping, order from suppliers and maintain stock control in your chalet.
The Family Ski Company has a choice of eleven separate guest accommodations all within family-friendly villages of distinctive character in either the ‘Three Valleys’, ‘Paradiski’, or ‘Portes du Soleil’ ski areas of the French Alps. We are passionate about providing quality childcare so every member of the family can have a wonderful experience in the mountains.
experience required: A love of food and confidence to cook for up to 10 adults are the most important qualifications. Full training will be given on our menu but you should have a sound knowledge of food and kitchen hygiene. Although not essential a Driving Licence is an advantage for this role.
The Family Ski Company provides staff with an excellent employment package. This includes your food and accommodation, full season lift pass, ski or snowboard hire, uniform (including ski jacket), return transport from the UK to resort, medical and personal liability insurance. You will also receive a weekly wage, disclosed at the time of interview. All applicants must have a full UK National Insurance Number, UK bank account and hold an EU Passport.

Weekly Salary: £££ competitive + benefits
