The Company
Ski Famille is an independently owned specialist in family ski holidays in the French Alps. We are regularly cited by the press as experts in our field and enjoy high levels of return guests and staff.
 
The Role
This is an ideal position for someone with previous supervisory experience in the catering/hospitality industry who is now looking to move into a more senior role.

Your key responsibilities will be:-

  • Supervise overall running of all resort chalets
  • Training, management, organisation and motivation of staff
  • Deal with suppliers, authorities, chalet owners and liaise with other Mountain High Properties management
  • Run weekly meetings and ensure effective staff motivation & discipline
  • Dealing with guests’ problems & issues
  • Ensure that all chalets meet with Company Health & Safety standards at all times
  • Prepare resort chalet accounts, control shopping expenditure, pay suppliers.
  • Compile reports and other paperwork

 
The Chalet Manager will be key to ensuring all chalets are running smoothly and clients are receiving the best service possible. Your team will look upon you for motivation, guidance and support.  At times the position will be hands on due to illness or injury.
 
The Person
You will have a proven track record of managing staff in a catering environment and will need to be independent, have good customer service experience and although not essential, it would be an advantage to have extensive chalet/tour operator experience.
 
Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Good working knowledge of written and spoken French
  • UK National Insurance number
  • Driving Licence (held for at least 2 years)
  • Aged 21 or over (age restrictions apply due to insurance on vehicles)
