You should be personable, polite and tactful. Your role as doorman is as much welcoming guests into the bar as helping to control crowds as well. A reasonable level of French is required. Responsible for the ‘look’ of the bar from the outside you must be presentable and ready to deal with any situation that may arise. Previous experience is not essential but preferable. You will be required to work mainly nights although be expected to jump in and help out on the floor should need be (see above role).
