As a Chalet or Hotel Assistant you will provide a welcoming atmosphere for the guests and ensure that the high standards that the company expects are maintained. You will assist with the cleaning and preparation of the Chalet or Hotel, assist with the production of reports and help to compile information about your resort for guests.

You will help provide a first class service to all guests, welcome them on arrival and help them with their luggage. You will provide guests with information about the Chalet/Hotel and resort, be present at the welcome meeting and promptly and effectively deal with any problems that arise.

You will assist with set-up and serving of breakfast and evening meals and cleaning afterwards, and, in Chalet Hotels, assist serving behind the bar.

You will assist with daily and weekly housekeeping, maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensure that guest bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas are clean and tidy.

As well as the skills related to your role you will also be required to assist with other physical duties such as deliveries, snow clearing, assisting with luggage and lifting. You will be expected throughout the season to fully support the Chalet Hotel, Chalet and Child Care programme in your resort.
