Head Chef  Winter 10/11

As Hotel Head Chef in one of our Chalet Hotels, ranging in size from 60 -90 guests, you will be responsilble for the planning, preparation and delivery of these meals. Your responsibilities will include the smooth running of your kitchen, keeping withing set budgets, training, organising and supervising your team and ensuring that our high standards and procedures are maintained.As Head Chef you will ensure excellent quality meals are always, presented to a high standard, for our guests. You need to be self-motivated and confident in your own abilities, with excellent organisational, communication and inter-personal skills and the ability to lead the team in all areas of kitchen responsibility.As well as the general skills related to your role you will also be expected to be part of the team helping out where necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Chalet Hotel.Requirements:

• Qualification or proven experience in the catering industry
• Experience running large kitchens
• Management experience essential
• EU passport holders only, with UK residency and permanent UK National Insurance number
