Work as a cruise ship nursery nurse or as youth staff onboard one of Cunard Lines world famous cruise ships including the Queen Mary II, the Queen Victoria and the brand new luxury liner the Queen Elizabeth due to set launch in autumn 2010.

Cruise Ship Nursery Nurse
Cruise ship nursery nurses are responsible for maintaining a safe and friendly children's recreational area within the nursery on board the cruise ship and to provide a variety of fun games and activities to children up to the age of 7 years. The nursery activity sessions will include a wide variety of activities including drama activities, fun games, arts and craft and play activities. Cruise ship nursery nurses also have involvement with other duties on board the cruise ship such as embarkation and disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows and meeting and greeting children and parents.
Candidates will hold a NNEB/CACHE Diploma or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of two years nursery experience with children aged 6 months and upwards.

Experience of working with young children is essential, along with a high level of customer service, motivation, commitment and excellent organisational skills.
Applicants must be British citizens and those with a C1D visa are desirable.
Having a current First Aid qualification will significantly increase the chance of selection.
Experience of working at sea, additional languages and nanny work experience are favourably viewed.
Hours of work and rates of pay are confirmed upon contract.
Cruise Ship Youth Staff
Cruise ship youth staff are responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of a range of sports and activities to a group children aged between 7 and 16 years. The sports and activity sessions will include a wide variety of activities including everything from football and tennis to arts and craft, team building activities and drama games. Cruise ship youth staff also have involvement with other duties on board the cruise ship such as embarkation and disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows and meeting and greeting children and parents.
Candidates will be educated or working towards a HND/degree in a childcare related or hold at least two NGB sports coaching qualifications and with at least two years of sports coaching experience with children aged 4-16 years.
Experience of working with children of all ages is essential, along with a high level of customer service, motivation, commitment and excellent organisational skills.
Applicants must be British citizens and those with a C1D visa are desirable.
