Sessions will vary, indoors and outdoors, posts and no posts! However, one thing will remain constant - a stream of girls (and some boys) desperate to play and learn. Whether teaching passing techniques or tactical aspects, coaching sessions will be loud, colourful and stacked with energy that more than make-up for any lack of physical contact.

Netball Coaching in Ghana

Netball is an increasingly popular sport in Ghana and your role will include organising coaching sessions and matches for school clubs and league teams in the capital city, Accra. Natural sporting talent is everywhere in Ghana and this is your chance to get involved.

Netball Coaching in Port Elizabeth, South Africa

Although netball may not be South Africa's most renowned sport, the enjoyment and passion for the game is shared by many. Furthermore, the desire to develop and play as part of a well-structured team is as equally common, and this is precisely what the our netball projects have enabled more and more young players to do.

We welcome volunteers who enjoy playing or coaching netball, be it socially with friends, representing your school, club or university team or even as far as holding coaching qualifications. The emphasis is not on developing Africa's next big star, but on getting alongside children from less-advantaged backgrounds and building friendships over a common ground.

You will also have the opportunity to play the sport with other volunteers and local netball clubs, in both South Africa and Ghana - a fantastic cultural exchange!
