We have worked in Nepal since 1990 when we began to send volunteers to the magnificent Helambu region of Nepal to help rural schools in the area. During our time there we built a new school and have helped educate many hundreds of children from that region, one of whom is currently sponsored to attend university in the UK, learning skills to take back to his home village in Nepal! Currently we have projects in the Chuakot region of Nepal where volunteers are teaching in rural primary and secondary schools as well as projects in the historic city of Kathmandu. In the Kathmandu valley we are currently working in three primary schools including a school set up for street children and orphans. Most recently we have set up a project in the rural village of Tara Punja, helping out in a primary school there.
