BUNAC

If you consider yourself to be someone with a sense of adventure who wants to have a high quality, well supported, worthwhile volunteering experience as part of their travels in SE Asia, then Volunteer Cambodia could be just what you’re looking for.

Cambodia is fast becoming one of the hottest destinations in South East Asia. This beautiful and friendly country is now moving on from its troubled past and the Volunteer Cambodia programme will give you the opportunity to become fully immersed in Cambodian life and culture.

Placements last for either 8, 12 or 16 weeks are in or around the town of Siem Reap, the gateway for the World-famous temples of Ankor Wat. You will initially attend an interview and BUNAC will then liaise with our local co-operator to arrange your placement depending on your interests, skills and experience and the needs of the community at the time of the programme.

Once your placement is complete you will have the opportunity to explore the rest of Cambodia and South East Asia, including Vietnam and Thailand which are right on Cambodia’s doorstep.

Programme costs start from £595 for 8 weeks and include full pre-departure advice and support, a three day arrival orientation including tours and accommodation, guest house accommodation for the duration of the programme (includes breakfast) and full support from our local partner organisation for the duration of your stay.
