Volunteer and Adventure in Nepal

This programme combines 4 weeks of volunteer work on our popular community projects and culminates with a 2 week trek to Everest Base Camp. On arrival in Kathmandu you will be given a cultural orientation where you will tour the city, undergo language lessons and stay with a local family. After this you will start your volunteer work, which may be teaching various subjects at local schools, working at an orphanage or at getting involved with the community at a youth centre. The placements are challenging, worthwhile and great fun.

At the end of the first month you will return to Kathmandu to be briefed on the trek to base camp. The next day you fly to Lukla and commence the 14 day return trip.
