MondoChallenge is a UK based NGO sending volunteers for short term placements in developing countries. Opportunities currently available in Tanzania, Kenya, Gambia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India and Chile. All are in the most beautiful locations and most are community based, living with local families.

Most of the projects involve teaching in schools or to adult learners. But there are also Business development programmes available for skilled applicants.

Volunteers are mainly university, post university or career break individuals/couples.

Length of project is 2-6 months. Two countries can be visited under the Mondo Combo package.

Costs are around £1200 plus travel. Local costs for board and lodging are just a few pounds per week.

We are small organisation with a very personal touch. Half our volunteers come from abroad and the average age is 32.
