Cruise ship youth staff are responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of a range of sports and activities to a group children and this position is specifically for children aged between 12 and 18 years.  The sports and activity sessions will include a wide variety of activities including everything from football and tennis to arts and craft, team building activities, drama games and family activities.

Cruise ship youth staff also have involvement with other duties on board the cruise ship such as embarkation and disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows and meeting and greeting children and parents.  

Cruise Ship Youth Staff - Skills Match 

• Ideal candidates will hold at least two NGB sports coaching qualifications and with at least two years of sports coaching experience with children aged 11-18 years.
• Experience of working with children of all ages is essential, along with a high level of customer service, motivation, commitment and excellent organisational skills.
• Applicants with a C1D visa are desirable.
• Having a current First Aid qualification will significantly increase the chance of selection.
• Experience of working at sea, additional languages and experience of working for King's Camps in the UK are favourably viewed.

Cruise Ship youth Staff - Duties & Responsibilities

• Cruise ship youth staff are responsible for planning, preparing and delivering a range of sports and activities for groups of children aged between 7 and 16.
• Cruise ship youth staff will assist with on board including embarkation / disembarkation, muster station duties, welcome on board shows, meeting and greeting parents.
• Welcome and get to know the children in your group, ensuring that their enjoyment is your prime concern. Care for and encourage the children on board the cruise ship and integrate any unhappy children into the group activities.
• Ensure the Health and Safety of the children in your care.
