Hi,

Our names are Will and Jim, We are both 18 and looking for a job for two in the French Alps. We’ve read about the jobs which ask for host and chef team with a view to one person cooking and the other hosting and generally looking after the guests.

Will has just finished A levels in Business, French and Law at Ludlow College in Shropshire and would love a job in France to help with his French speaking but also make something of a gap year. With experience of French and an accommodating charisma gained from a job in the local public house he would be ideally suited to host and maintain a warm welcome to chalet guests and at the same time work well in a team.

Jim has just finished a two year catering qualification at Hereford College of Technology. The course involved learning various techniques from pastry to writing menus that appeal to the eye and pallet. He has worked with various different restaurants, and professional kitchens which have given skills, confidence and all important experience in catering.

Our problem is many if the jobs we’ve found that would be great for us require applicants to be 21 and over. This is a shame as we’re both extremely motivated and keen to work in this area.

Is there anyone who can point us in the right direction to help us find a job suited to us?
