About The Lifespring Foundation (Africa)
The Lifespring Foundation (Africa) is a small charitable organisation registered in the UK and as an NGO in both Zambia & Kenya. The primary aim is to bring Opportunity, Education, Empowerment and Hope to people whose lives have been affected by poverty, HIV & Aids. in everything LSFA do the aim is to enable people to become self-supporting.
In Zambia LSFA run innovative projects for widows, orphans and vulnerable families in and around Ndola. This includes a primary school for orphaned children, a Home Based Care Programme delivering community care and support for those with HIV/Aids, Day-centres for vulnerable families, Empowerment Programmes for widows, Youth Development Programmes & specialist support for children with HIV/Aids.
In Kenya LSFA are developing community programmes to tackle the issues of poverty HIV/Aids and youth outreach to street kids in Mombasa.
LSFA offer volunteer placements for people from 18+ years based from their purpose built accommodation at Lifespring Farm, Ndola, Zambia.
