Course Details

Peak Leaders pre-season BASI ski instructor course. Start your season in September. This instructor course is ideal for you to gain your BASI instructor qualifications before the winter season kicks off, meaning you can apply for jobs during our course. Saas Fee in the Autumn offers excellent terrain, with a huge park and pipe.

On our 2012 course ALL of our trainees passed both the BASI level 1 and 2 exams and ALL of out trainees secured jobs as ski instructors for the winter season!

This course finishes at the end of November – you can put your new instructor status into practise straight away! We suggest you start applying for jobs at the beginning of the course. Ask us for help on this. Saas Fee is a stunning, high altitude resort about 3 hours from Geneva. During the autumn it’s a mecca for ski and snowboard teams using the glacier for pre season training. Whilst you’re completing your training you will see some of the best pros in the world in the park and international race teams in the gates.

The resort has a pretty chilled vibe during the autumn, but there’s plenty to do. There’s a variety of restaurants, bars, a fantastic sports centre, as well as tennis courts, zip lines, football pitches – you can do as much or as little as you want when you’re not on the mountain.

The accommodation that our trainees stay at in Saas Fee is amazing with all trainees sharing spacious, comfortable en-suite rooms with cable TV and free Wifi. Breakfast is included 7 mornings a week, and dinner is 6 nights per week. For breakfast you’ll have a delicious buffet to choose from – typically, croissants, ham, cheese, eggs, cereal, fruit, yoghurt. There’s plenty of it and it’ll set you up for the day ahead.  Dinner is eaten together and you’ll have a 3 course meal to choose from every night. There are also fondue/raclette nights and the occasional BBQ to help you enjoy the warm Autumn evenings.
