As Flotilla Mechanic you would be responsible for overall maintenance and repair of up to fifteen yachts. Knowledge of marine diesel engines is preferred but not essential, as is some sailing experience. Experience in an engineering or motor trade environment is very relevant.

You would be working as part of a small team to pro-actively provide assistance to all guests using the yachts out on Flotilla each week. You must be self Motivated, have good communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and have a First Aid qualification.

Other responsibilities include:

Taking personal responsibility for the maintenance, repair and security of Neilson equipment.

Assisting in providing a safe and enjoyable working environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, for both staff and guests.

Assisting in organising and hosting social events on most evenings, and generally interact with guests on a regular basis.

To be flexible in working hours to ensure yachts are fully functional whenever possible.
