About G4S & London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games
G4S is proud to be the official security services provider to 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
We'll be providing a range of security services to over 100 competition and non-competition venues including:
• The Olympic Park in Stratford
• Sporting venues across the UK including• football stadiums and the Sailing Village
• The Olympic Villages and Hotels
• Athletes training venues
• Logistics centres
As part of Team G4S you could be doing anything from guarding to performing personal searches at venue entrances, all team members have a vital role to play in keeping London 2012 safe and secure.
At G4S we are looking for keen, reliable staff members preferably with customer service experience.
This opportunity is open to anyone, as we provide all the training you’ll need to succeed. Experience is beneficial but as long as you can remain calm under pressure, think quickly on your feet, and are good with people, we’d like to hear from you. In addition you should have:
• The ability to demonstrate experience delivering customer service
• A good standard of verbal and written English communications (ideally you will already hold a GCSE A-C or an NVQ at level 2 or above)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• 5 year verifiable work/educational history
• The ability to work shifts
Working as a Security Officer means you’ll need to commit to training and be available for work throughout the games, as you’ll play a vital role in keeping everyone safe and secure.
