Saas Fee

Switzerland  Switzerland flag

Saas Fee is considered by many to be the pearl of the alps, hence its tourist slogan ‘Die perle der Alpen’, and they would be not far wrong.

Saas Fee is one of the prettiest villages in the Alps, with no cars and strict regulations on buildings; many come to experience a season in a traditional setting.

However if you think that it could be pretty but a little dull, you could be no further from the truth. Yes Saas Fee has noise police who will issue fines for being noisy after dark; however behind closed doors Saas Fee boasts a very healthy and vibrant night life to challenge even the largest of resorts.

Saas Fee is surrounded by a breathtaking array of mountains and glaciers, and is one of the few places in the alps open to snow sports in the summer, where many of the worlds elite come to train.

Saas Fee also boasts a world class snow park where some of the world’s best freestyle riders can often be spotted and has been featured in many snowboarding and skiing films.
