Background information on STG Travel
Who is STG?
STG is the School Travel Group which operates as part of the Education Travel Group offering a portfolio of well-known brands with excellent value added services that are simply the best in class. Our Equity, Skiplan, STS, Pavilion and UK Connection brands along with our sister company, Kingswood cover 3 principal areas – Primary & Secondary Education, Higher Education and Consumer
STG, with its wealth of expertise, is the UK’s leading supplier of educational group tours, school ski courses and educationally rich centre breaks.
Next winter more than 25,000 guests will travel with us to some of the best ski resorts in the French Alps, Austria, Italy, Canada and USA. Our guests either travel by air from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted as well as Manchester, or, by overnight coach directly from the UK.
As part of this operation, the company exclusively owns or leases hotels and chalets in the Alps. These are fully staffed with our own carefully selected teams.
If you are confident that you measure up and you are available for the whole season which runs from December to April – we are very keen to hear from you.
Winter Ski
Our winter ski school brands are Equity Ski, Skiplan and Sloping Off combined with our adult brand, Rocket Ski.
During the full season we operate 2 specialist chalets in Alpe d'Huez, France with 6 hotels across the rest of the French Alps. We also have a team of Customer Service Staff based in the Dolomites and Piemontes, Italy.
As part of our Clubhotel teams you will be required to work with both school and adult groups offering the very best service and experience to our guests.
Peak Season
We also recruit Peak Season Represenatives to work in Austria, Italy, France and USA for the school holidays at February Half Term and Easter. This is an ideal opportuntity to experience winter overseas but still have a full-time job back in the UK or those who are currently at university and are looking to fill their holidays.
Tours
Aside from winter we also operate summer tours to numerous European cities with the STS, Equity Tours, Pavilion and UK Connection brands.
This is supported by our Chateau du Baffy based in Normandy which operates from February through to November for all 4 tour brands. We offer full and short-term seasonal contracts from February to August for various positions within the Chateau team.
Our Pavillion brand operates a water sports centre in L’Escala, Spain. The season runs from May through to August and we look for fully qualified water sports instructors to fill numerous positions.
We also need tours representatives from May through to August to travel on ad-hoc trips mainly across Europe. This is a perfect opportunity to expand your horizons if you speak one or more languages and generally enjoy cultural trips overseas.
