Our guests come to Kingswood for an action packed adventure. It will be your job to feed those hungry mouths and give them the energy they need to keep them going through the busy day!


Visiting groups will enter the dining area on a timetabled basis and you will be responsible for ensuring that you and your team have prepared hot tasty food ready to be served when they arrive. Some groups may be away from centre for the day, so it will be your job to ensure they have a substantial packed lunch to enjoy.


Reporting to the Head Chef or Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day supervision of Kitchen Assistants and other members of the staff team who are giving you a helping hand in the kitchen.


Adhering strictly to food safety guidelines, you will be cooking and preparing 3 meals a day for 200-600 guests. Working to a rota’d menu you will provide nutritious, tasty meals ensuring any dietary requirements are catered for. You will take pride in your working environment and ensure that the kitchen and dining areas are clean, tidy and safe.


We will provide you with uniform and full training to follow HACCP regulations.


If you have experience cooking for 200+ people and are able to work as part of a busy team then we’d love to hear from you. Basic Hygiene and HACCP qualifications / knowledge are desirable. As you will be required to liaise with visitors and staff on a day to day basis, a basic conversational level of English is required.
