NST are now recruiting for the 2008 season with Selection days being held on a regular basis. (Please note there are a limited number of vacancies available for just July and August)

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individuals to work as Assistant River Leaders as part of our River Team at our Ardèche Adventure site in the South of France.

Our Assistant River Leaders are a small team of experienced and dedicated open canoeists holding the minimum qualification of BCU level 3 canoe coach award (or appropriate level of UKCC qualifications).

You will have some responsibility for the training of the river team and the Ardèche river trip, including client safety and logistics. You will also instruct other activities such as kayaking and high ropes.

In addition to your advanced canoe skills, you will have a general aptitude for coaching outdoor pursuits as you will work alongside the Activities Manager in leading and motivating the activity team.

In addition to your level of experience you must hold a minimum of BCU level 3 canoe coach award (or appropriate level of UKCC qualifications).


The 2008 season begins early April with a 3 week dedicated staff training period prior to our guests arriving on site. Our season runs until mid September and we are looking for staff who can commit to this full 6 month period.
