Role Purpose - (Please not you MUST SPEAK fluent French for this role)
To deliver the brochure promise and ensure the efficient operation of 11 Club Hotels and their bars in France, Switzerland and Andorra, including the achievement of budgeting/profit targets, operational standards & guest satisfaction.
To manage the provision, cost and standard of all staff accommodation whilst ensuring that all capital expenditure is correctly authorised and that all maintenance is carried out within budget and in conjunction with the Head of Tour Operations and Properties.
Establish and implement relevant controls and processes to safeguard company stock and cash
Ensure that all health, hygiene and safety standards and legislation (both local and UK) are complied with by putting in place necessary controls, checks and procedures.
Ensure that all necessary local and UK employment legislation/paperwork is adhered to and abided by within the programme/country of operation.
Manage interdepartmental relationships ensuring effective communication and cooperation
Proposal of new ideas, including service delivery, quality standards, staffing, suppliers, new properties etc.
Achievement of financial targets/budgets within the Hotels programme including:
* Sales
* Gross margins
* Costs - labour, food and other operating costs
* Capital expenditure
* Net operating profit
* Budget setting in all relevant areas
Personnel:
* Develop staff through appropriate training programmes and succession planning
* Effectively and promptly deal with employee relations issues
* Ensure minimum staff turnover through effective management
* Ensure staff take ownership of all aspects of the customer journey
Ensure maximum customer satisfaction through provision of:
* High quality services and facilities
* Maintaining of customer feedback (through CSQ returns) and
* Taking appropriate steps to reduce issues
