Now recruiting Qualified Canoe & Kayak Instructors for our 2011 season!
We are currently recruiting paddle sports instructors for our centres in the UK, France, Italy & Spain for the 2011 season.
Whether you are looking to further your career in the outdoor industry or just want to spend some time instructing your favourite activity, we can offer excellent opportunities. If you are a BCU Level 2 Coach or the new UKCC Level 1 Coach you can lead activity sessions. If you do not yet hold any coaching qualifications but are of BCU 2* or 3* / FSRT standard, there will be opportunities to work towards this.
Our team of Activity Instructors deliver taster activity sessions and an evening entertainment programme to our guests.
You will need plenty of energy, enthusiasm, motivation and the ability to relate to young people and adults alike. We expect our staff to deliver excellent customer service to our guests, whilst delivering fun and safe activity sessions.
As part of the role, you will be required to interact daily with the guests and get involved in all aspects of centre life from cleaning and serving at meal times to site work.
If you enjoy mucking in and working hard whilst instructing in your preferred activity and also having the opportunity to get out and about in some fantastic locations, then we want you to apply! We are ideally looking for people with experience of working in outdoor adventure with young people between 7-17 yrs old.
Requirements:
- Minimum BCU Level 2 Coach (Canoe or Kayak) or UKCC Level 1 Coach
- Minimum BCU 2* or 3*and FSRT (assistant activity instructor positions)
All of our staff participate in a comprehensive induction & training programme at centre and there are pre and post-season training opportunities to gain NGB qualifications in different activities.
All applicants must be at least 18 yrs old, have a UK/EU passport, UK residential address, a permanent UK National Insurance number and a UK bank account.
