Applicants must be aged 19+
Key Duties:
- Deliver professional, effective and great fun sports and activity classes to campers
- Design and plan activity sessions to suit specific requirements (age, weather, aims)
- Lead and motivate each individual to benefit maximally from your activities
- Work with other activity leaders and other staff to co-ordinate and combine sessions and groups
- Enjoy yourself!
Points to note:
The essential element of all Camp Suisse sports programmes is to improve skills and confidence in each discipline; development and learning is essential. Sports and activities are delivered in a safe, controlled environment in a manner which is great fun for participants of all ages and which fosters real enthusiasm for the exercise.
Personal requirements / characteristics:
Camp Suisse Activity Leaders are talented and adaptable individuals with a genuine passion for their sports or activities. You must be mature, punctual, professional and responsible with a real enthusiasm for the outdoors and for educating and teaching kids and young people. All sessions are to be structured, planned and progressive to suit the needs of each group of individuals. First Aid training and relevant qualifications in your chosen discipline(s) are required. You must have the CTC / OTC Mountain Biking Leader award. You will focus on giving classes in mountain biking but will also be required to run other activities and sports and to get involved with other areas of the camp.
Remuneration:
- Accommodation
- Three meals per day
- Entrance / admissions / equipment relating to all activities in which you participate
- Return transport to resort from UK
- Weekly wage
- Some in-house training
You must have the right to work in the UK as although you will work in Switzerland, employment is in all cases on UK contracts. Please do not apply if you cannot prove your right to work in the UK
