Placement Details

As any budding journalist knows, it's tough to break into media. In many cases not only do you have to be able to demonstrate that you can actually write, but also that you can come up with unusual angle - that you can think outside the box. Having any article in your portfolio from an Indian newspaper or experience in your CV from a Ghanaian TV Station can demonstrate that you not only have experience but that you are someone who does things differently. This programme helps you stand out because rather than making tea during your time at your local newspaper following a journalist around for a week, you went to overseas and actually wrote for a newspaper.Project locations:GhanaIn Ghana our projects are based in the Cape Coast area and are well suited to those with an interest in broadcast media. We work with TV and Radio stations in the area and you will be encouraged to work in all areas from production to presenting! You can combine this with time on a newspaper that is produced twice a week to broaden your media or journalism experience.
