Background Information . The Rudeboy Crew Association is a local organisation born in 2004, in Bleymard, a small municipality of Lozère, near the city of Mende (South east of France). This organisation has been organising a festival of music and street entertainments every year, and this year it run from the 13th till the 15th of May in 2010. Usually, a small team of local volunteers, very motivated, comes to help them during the festival. This year, the association wants to mix them with international volunteers to give a supplementary dimension to this project. They will be present before and during the festival for the preparation and the good progress of the event. It will be a time for meetings between the public and volunteers, with a specific aim on ecological issues.
Work . Volunteers will be fully involved in the organization of the festival. - Before to the festival: installation of the stages and marquee, general installation of the surroundings, construction of ecological dry toilet, of the bars and catering... - During the festival: integration in the teams of volunteers to manage the various tasks relative to the organization: box office, refreshment room, catering, campsite, reception of the artists, hosting guests, joining the safety team, making arts in the street... - After the festival: general tidying up...
