With the snow surety of Kaprun's glacier you can ski on the Kitzsteinhorn from October to June with fantastic conditions. Kaprun provides the best opportunity to ski or board in the early or late season. With it's wide open slopes providing excellent terrain for all types of training. The fantastic off-piste potential of the glacier is well known. This year the glacier was the holder of the free ski open and it hosted some of the world most important competions.

It's park caters for every level of freeskier or boarder and together with it superpipe it is the place to go for those who want to jump, spin, flip and trick.

The village of Kaprun comes to life at night time offering great après ski and entertainment early into the next morning.

During the winter season the Kitzsteinhorn lift pass allows you also to ski in the surrounding resorts of the Maiskogel, Zell am See and Saalbach.
