Are you either a qualified chef or someone who has got plenty of catering experience ideas and enthusiasm, and would like to combine using and improving these skills with spending a winter in one of Europe’s top Ski Resorts?
*Main Responsibilities:* Managing kitchen operations and staff to ensure all dietary requirements are met for breakfast, afternoon tea, high tea for children and 3-course evening meals. In addition to catering, duties include: organising work rotas for kitchen staff; monitoring budgets; centralising stock-take and food orders; checking and maintaining cleanliness, hygiene and food standards.
*Requirements:* Professional experience catering for a minimum of 40 people; proven staff management skills; flexible attitude; budgeting experience; catering and/or food hygiene qualifications, an advantage.
ESSENTIAL
• Extensive cooking experience in catering for large numbers
• Previous staff management experience
• Can work well under pressure
• Highly motivated and able to motivate others
• Able to work on own initiative
• Good team player
• Excellent organisational skills
• A flexible hands on approach & pro active
•
DESIRABLE
• Recognised cooking/catering qualification
• Previous ski season experience
• Previous direct customer service experience
• Good conversational French/German
• Experience of living and working aboard
• Full clean driving licence
• Experience in budgeting and accounting, handling cash
