Resort Manager

Skiworld

The most challenging but ultimately rewarding role in the resort! Skiworld are looking for highly motivated customer focused people with previous seasonal experience (minimum age 24) who are effective leaders and managers and full of initiative, who would relish the opportunity to make a difference and oversee the entire resort operation in a variety of top European ski resorts.

Requirements: Minimum age 24 years; fluent french advantageous; highly customer-focused, previous direct customer service experience; proven staff management skills and previous seasonal ski experience essential, as is the ability to take responsibility, solve problems effectively and use your own initiative; proven organisational, administrative and accounts experience; computer literacy (Word, Excel, email and Internet)+ full, clean driving licence needed.

Main Responsibilities: Taking overall responsibility for Skiworld in-resort operations: managing and motivating Skiworld resort staff including correct use of coaching, counselling and disciplinary procedures wherever necessary; overseeing all Skiworld properties; organising client transfers, ski packs, après-ski and ski leading programmes; completing resort accounts and paperwork; dealing with any client queries/problems; liaising and negotiating with local suppliers. Above all else, ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are met, maintained and exceeded and ensuring that guests have a fantastic Skiworld holiday experience. The role is 6 days a week, however, the Resort Manager is required to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.
