Retail Staff works mostly indoors. They are our front line interaction with our guests time and time again, so it is
VERY IMPORTANT TO BE FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. They must understand technical features of ski/snowboard wear, including designer sunglasses, goggles, gloves, and underwear. They must present competence in the skills of a
Ski/board Tech I, as applicable, as well as the ability to write and process rental contracts and shop tickets. They must be aware of and maintain all displays and rack presentations. Be aware of entire situation on the sales floor, assisting supervisors to organize sales staff. Operate opening and closing procedures and understand and accurately perform mail out procedures, including customer contact, paperwork, money collection procedures and boxing for shipment. During the busy season (Christmas and holidays) extra hours may be available and overtime pay is granted after 40 hours has been met for the week. Overtime pay is time and a half the hourly rate. Scheduling for time off can be done through your supervisor, when the level of business allows.

Uniform requirements:A vest and a T-neck layer are provided and generally black or khaki colored personal pants are worn. If you plan on skiing/riding you must furnish your own ski/snowboard gear. Underclothing and boots will be the responsibility of the employee. Ski/snowboard gear required for work and pleasure is the employee’s responsibility to purchase.
