Work a winter season in Grindelwald

Grindelwald is situated at the foot of the infamous Mt. Eiger, and is one of, if not the most, picturesque of Swiss Alpine resorts. It attracts visitors from around the globe all year round; they come for the wide range of extreme sports set within a stunning background.

Being part of the Jungfrau region your ski pass covers Wengen (home of the notorious International Lauberhorn Downhill), Murren with its James Bond revolving restaurant from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service", as well as Grindelwald’s own two areas. There are plenty of pisted runs within the four ski areas, but the die-hard skiers / boarders will definitely benefit from excellent off-piste potential the region has to offer.

One of the most memorable parts of working a season in Grindelwald is the amount of interaction you get with the locals; being a farming village at heart (although tourism is now the major industry) it still retains a Swiss feel, and you are welcomed into the friendly community with open arms.

Working in Grindelwald is an experience; away from the neon lights and London bar staff of the larger more commercial resorts, you become part of a friendly community that will leave you wanting to return next season for more of the same.

Pubs, cafés and clubs in Grindelwald
Although not a large village Grindelwald has a healthy nightlife, with plenty of bars and the nightclubs blasting out the obligatory cheesy Euro pop tunes until the early hours!
