CHALET HOTEL HOUSE MANAGER, SAN CASSIANO, ITALY

House Manager Required for Winter 2010/11: We require an experienced housekeeper/chalet manager to take over the general day to day management of our large Chalet Hotel Albergo Frohsinn in the heart of the Italian Dolomites.

The House Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the chalet hotel ensuring that the guests’ needs are met at all times while maintaining the Company’s standards. With the support of UK management staff you’ll be leading a team of 7 staff in a hands on housekeeping/management role. You’ll be very much part of the team while being responsible for the rota and general day to day running of the chalet hotel.

The hours are long and the job is physically and emotionally demanding and you need to be excellent at working within a team.  You must have extremely high work standards, be customer-focused, self motivated and take pride in your work at all times.

Essential Requirements

• To have successfully completed at least two seasons working for a ski holiday company.
• To be comfortable working within a close team.
• A flexible “nothing too much trouble” attitude.
• Excellent organisation skills.
• An ability to work on own initiative.
• Some management or supervisory experience.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• If you are able to speak Italian or German this will be a big advantage to you (but not essential).
