Working seasons is an experience that I would recommend to everyone and there are a million reasons why; You make some great friends that due to the closeness of working, socialising, and skiing together become your family for 5 months. The opportunity to ski or board in some of the most picturesque places in the world is irreplaceable. Then you have the nightlife which is second to none.
I had previously worked in hospitality but working overseas is a new challenge. I started as a KP but with the help of some great Chefs pushing me to progress I have gained a passion for cooking. Next season I am looking to work hard and train to be a chef. Like all season work it is not easy and the hours can be long but it is more than worth it.
This season has been a massive boost for me. I was 19 on my first season and had a 4 year break before doing this one, I missed it like hell. Like any season it was hard at times but all told I am glad that I did it, it has been amazing. Thank you to all my guys, girls, and managers who made my season I love you all and I am looking forward to coming back next year.
