La Nina is back - Bring on the snow in Canada 2011/12!

Monday 28 November 2011

Added by: Oyster Worldwide

This year, La Nina is back! Meteorologists are banking on the western coast of Canada having the coldest winter in 20 years- which means fantastic snow conditions and a great season.

Meteorologists have been studying the weather and its shifts in the months leading up to the winter season, and have confirmed that the weather shift should mean plenty of snow fall throughout the winter months- and well into the spring too!

And that is not all of the good news:

With snow already falling as low down as Whistler village, conditions further up the mountain are looking perfect for this time of the year, with many of the more adventurous skiers already out and about on the mountain.

What better news for our Oyster workers heading out next week to Whistler! Enjoy!
