If you are looking for a job for the summer, where wou will meet a whole host of new friends, and also have an opportunity to gain new skills, or share those that you posess with others, then Herm Island could well be the place for you.
The Island is inherently friendly, its permenant residents, that number 60 in total live and work together in unique harmony, whilst encouraging 90 seasonal staff to join the workforce for this tourist business.
The Island has one Hotel, One pub, three gift shops, two beach cafes, two campsites and twenty self catering cottages. Seasonal staff are employed throughout the summer to help run these businesses, most of which are closed during the winter. The seasonal staff community built up is a fabulous way to meet people from all over the world and to make lasting friendships.
