Working a ski season in Italy

Working a ski season in Italy

Ski jobs in the French AlpsItaly is typically aimed at beginners/intermediates with a limited amount of expert runs. Although there are only a limited number of resorts in Italy, the snow is fairly reliable and so there is a good chance of getting good snow for the season.

One of the best points about Italy is that it is very cheap, so savings will stretch that little bit further whilst you are trying to find a job. The après ski is a fairly lively one, with many bars and nightclubs so the chances of finding work are reasonably good. Italy tends to attract a young crowd, hence the lively nightlife, which again is quite good for season workers who may be travelling alone, or for those who are looking for a more party style season.

So although the ski areas are not really on the same scale as some other countries, there is still a lot of good skiing and boarding to be found with plenty of off piste. Italy would be a good place to work a season for someone with limited skiing experience but looking for a lively party town with a fun, friendly atmosphere.
