SKI TECH/REP/SKI GUIDE wanted for Winter Ski Season to join young team in Austrian alps. Sportwelt Amade region 26 bedroom english family run hotel requires bright and enthusiastic ski tech/rep/ski guide for busy hotel with english clientele. APPLICANTS OVER THE AGE OF 21 ONLY MAY APPLY DUE TO DRIVING INSURANCE LAWS IN AUSTRIA.
Must have relevant ski teching experience and certification, be enthusiastic and outgoing and be knowledgeable of all aspects of the role of Ski Tech. We have our own in-house skis and boots so must be able to fit boots correctly, service and mend skis and generally take charge of the ski room and keep all paperwork in order. The jobs also entails helping out with the apres ski events. i.e. Night Tobogganning and a quizz night. Driving clients to and from the airport along with two others and to and from the slopes each day (first thing in the morning and late affternoon) and guiding as requested. Excellent skier/snowvboarder is therefore important. This job is varied and challenging and the relevant applicant must be organised, working alongside the couple who manage the Hotel. Time to ski/board most days.
Accommodation is provided in the Hotel as are all meals taken in the Hotel and your uniform. A free staff drink can be taken in the bar each evening. Your lift pass would be refunded at the end of the season and flights to and from London to Salzburg would be provided.
