• Responsible for the smooth running of the housekeeping within the hotel.
• Liaise with the hotel manager to agree a weekly rota of tasks for the general representatives.
• Maintaining sufficient stock levels of bed linen, towels and table linen and delegating the tasks for laundering as necessary to the general staff.
• Overseeing room preparation on a daily basis and ensuring that high levels of cleanliness are met throughout the hotel, including all social areas, lifts, stairways and corridors.
• Inspection of rooms to ensure quality standards are maintained at all times.
• Monitoring the housekeeping book and ensuring issues are rectified immediately.
• Weekly stock takes of cleaning products, ordering where necessary and keeping within set budgets.
• Additional general duties as required as you will be included on the hotel rota.
