Job Details

Bell Language and Activity Programmes are looking to recruit organised, responsible and enthusiastic Activity Leaders and Houseparents for their Young Learner courses to be held this summer at six UK independent schools.

With over 40 years experience, Bell knows what makes the perfect Young Learner programme – exceptional student care, academic excellence and an exciting cultural and social programme. Our Young Learner residential courses are tailored for overseas students ages 8-17 and run between early June and late August. We provide both staff and children with excellent premises and facilities and we offer accommodation, meals and professional development opportunities.

Activity Leaders will plan, prepare and lead sports and activities. They will also participate in activities being led by other staff, assist on excursions and undertake pastoral duties.

We are particularly interested in applicants who have coaching/teaching experience and qualifications in the following areas:

Football, Tennis, Hockey, Cricket, Basketball, Archery, Survival Skills, Music Technology, Animation, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Dance.

We are also keen to receive applications from qualified lifeguards.

We currently have the following contracts available:

7th June - 26th August, 7th June - 29th July, 15th June - 29th July, 22nd June - 14th July, 29th June - 14th July, 2nd July - 11th August, 6th July - 2nd September, 7th July - 21st July, 7th July - 19th August.

Compensation: £355/week plus £42.85/week statutory annual leave payment

Houseparents are responsible for the pastoral care of students. Duties will involve student supervision, leading daily meetings, house checks, managing pocket money as well as participating in activities and excursions with the students.

We currently have the following contracts available:

6th July - 2nd September, 2nd July - 24th July

Compensation: £340/week plus £41.04/week statutory annual leave payment
