Applicants must be aged 19+

Key Duties:

  • Manage the Camp Suisse kitchen and team of staff
  • Monitor and manage food supplies and stores
  • Work, shop and cook to a given budget
  • Prepare dinner each evening for around 120 people
  • Organise and oversee the preparation of picnic/packed lunches as required
  • Enjoy yourself!

Points to note:

The most important skill is the ability to run the kitchen at service times in an organised and efficient manner.

Food is simple and should be easy to prepare. There is a choice (made in the morning) of two starters and two main meals and most meals are ‘table service’.

Personal requirements / characteristics:

Camp Suisse is looking for a friendly, well-motivated individual who is passionate about cooking. You must be a good team player and be able to work with a range of individuals. A good knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene is essential, as is experience in the food service industry and of running events and managing a team.

Remuneration:

  • Accommodation
  • Three meals per day
  • Return transport to resort from UK (other departure points available on request)
  • Weekly wage

You must have the right to work in the UK as although you will work in Switzerland, employment is in all cases on UK contracts. Please do not apply if you cannot prove your right to work in the UK.
