Job Details
We are looking for Chalet Hosts to join the Ski France Travel team in the French Alps.
Our chalet hosts are required to:
Cater for between 6-12 guests (average of 8), this means, provide a cooked breakfast, bake biscuit/cakes for afternoon tea, and a 3 course evening meal.
In addition, you need to keep the chalet clean and tidy, which will involve cleaning the guest’s bedrooms and bathrooms every day, as well as the public areas, and of course the kitchen must be spotless and hygienic.
You will be provided with the menus, and the shopping/ordering is done for you, and therefore you "just" need to follow the recipes.
To apply for this role you MUST have previous, catering and customer service experience, you must have a can do attitude, and be able to demonstrate a mature, sensible, and responsible outlook on life.
Benefits
In return for your 6 day week, you will be provided with food, accommodation, and travel to and from resort, uniform, training, lift pass, ski/board hire and winter sports insurance..
You will be required to pay a £75 bond payment, if you are offered a job, this is a refundable deposit, which will be refunded to you, providing that your complete the season, return all company property and leave your staff accommodation clean and tidy.
After a week shadowing a Chalet Host you will then be allocated to work in a Chalet in one of the following resorts:
Val d’Isere, Tignes, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Meribel, La Tania, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Les Deux Alps and Alp d’Huez
You will need to be flexible on the resort!
