How do you fancy going to the majestic Eiffel Tower, the River Seine, the Louvre, the steep steps of Montmartre, or even the Sacre Coeur? As a PGL Tour Leader taking school groups through Paris is all part of a day’s work!

We are currently looking enthusiastic French speakers to work as a Tour Leaders to accompany groups on these amazing trips.

PGL Travel Ltd is the UK's leading provider of residential activity holidays and educational courses for children. More than 250,000 guests enjoy a PGL trip each year, and as part of our school tours, we offer an exciting range of tailor-made study tours to the wonderful city of Paris.

The Tour Leader will be based at our centre on the outskirts of Paris, at Chateau de Grande Romaine, which is set in 70 acres of private grounds.

As a PGL Tour Leader, you’ll also be trained as an Activity Instructor, taking taster sessions in a variety of activities including archery and initiative exercises. Your role will also involve arranging evening entertainment for the visiting school group.

This role provides an excellent opportunity as a degree-level or equivalent French speaker to utilise your French language skills and bring French culture to life for British school children.

In addition to language skills, you’ll also be expected to be highly organised, to help schools have a well-run trip, and have previous experience of working with children in either a voluntary or paid capacity.
