Summer Boarding Courses (SBC) offers a truly international summer school experience in fantastic locations, with top quality English language courses, activity programmes and excursions. Our 3 summer schools are Dean Close International, located in Cheltenham and catering for children aged 11-16, SBC Oxford for 10-14 year olds and Norman Court which is based in Salisbury and caters for children aged 8-12 years.

JOB DETAILS:
SUMMER CONTRACTS: 12/07/10-21/08/10
The above dates include pre-course inductions. Course start dates vary according to the school:
Norman Court: 15/07/2010 – 19/08/2010SBC
Oxford: 16/07/2010 – 20/08/2010
Contracts will be for a minimum of 3.5 weeks and a maximum of 5.5 weeks.
EFL TEACHERS OXFORD AND NORMAN COURT: 15 hours English teaching per week to multi-national students aged 8-14, plus involvement in afternoon and evening activity sessions and excursion programmes, residential duties and all tasks associated with Summer School.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EFL TEACHERS: MUST be native speakers of English, be qualified with a teaching certificate (RSA CELTA/ Trinity TESOL or TEFL qualification) and preferably hold a first degree. At least one year’s experience teaching children and or teenagers essential.
Additional sports and or teaching qualifications, espcecially in coaching tennis, drama, dance and art would be highly advantageous as would Life Guard or First Aid qualifications.
