Front of House Warders | £18,000 pro rata
Fixed-term contract | Kensington Palace
Birthplace of Queen Victoria, home to Diana, Princess of Wales, and with one of the grandest staircases you’ll ever set foot on, Kensington Palace has a lot to boast.
No wonder people from all over the world flock to visit it – and that it’s still a favourite royal residence. Even you’ll soon be calling it home (at least, while you’re at work).
You’ll make visitors feel welcome from the moment they step inside, and make sure they leave feeling they’ve learned something of this splendid building’s long history. Above all, you’ll see to it that their time in the palace is enjoyable.
And as well as treating visitors to a memorable experience, you’ll look after health and safety to keep everyone, yourself included, safe. This, plus making sure the palace’s many collections are kept unspoiled for all to appreciate.
With a good standard of education and some customer service experience – ideally, but not essentially, gained at a visitor attraction or historic setting – it’s possible you’ll speak a second language and have first aid training. Crucially, you’ll be very interested in royal residences and keen to share that enthusiasm with others.
