The Concierge Manager is a full time permanent position reporting directly to the owner / Director of Black Diamond Lodge. The Concierge Manager will run the Lodge front desk, organising accommodation bookings and any other guest services required throughout a guest’s stay in Black Diamond. This Manager will handle all written and verbal guest communication including reservation confirmations, deposit and final balance payments and restaurant bookings.
The Concierge Manager should be versatile and able to serve international guests with excellent hospitality and customer service skills. They must be fluent in French and confident in their ability to converse with all members of the public and assert themselves professionally as required.
This is a permanent position with an excellent salary and package including 3 months holiday and private room in the staff chalet. Shares in the Black Diamond operational business will be given after successful completion of a probation period. We are a small hotel bar and restaurant.
All Black Diamond team members have an important part to play - and the Concierge Manager will be expected to manage a small team to deliver exceptional service. Team members include Concierge Assistants, Housekeepers, a Massage Therapist and a Driver / Maintenance Person.
The Concierge Manager will deputise for the Lodge Manager as required.
Black Diamond Lodge as just completed a grand entrance, underground parking and new apartments making the Lodge one of the premiere small hotels in Sainte Foy and it is our aim to ensure the service received by guests is similarly the best available in the Alps.
The Concierge Manager will run and manage the Lodge Front Desk inside the new grand entrance area. They will organise all accommodation arrivals, departures, guest billing and guest in-resort services including massages, childcare, airport transfers, taxis and other ad hoc requests. They will also assist with managing restaurant reservations and supplier deliveries.
