Looking to get into the outdoor industry but don't know where to start? If you have some experience of a water sports activity, or are recently qualified but need more time before taking the lead then this is for you…
What's the job?
An Assistant Instructors role is to support our instructional team delivering watersports activities and be part of the Voyager Adventure resort team delivering the in-resort programme. Even if you have limited previous experience in watersports our training and support programme will help you progress far quicker than you imagined. We can also offer National Governing Body qualifications, giving you the platform for further development.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Assisting in the delivery of activity sessions (sailing, windsurfing, kayaking & sup)
- Delivering in-resort activities
- Changeover and cleaning of customer accommodation
- Accompanying groups on excursions
This is an exciting overseas opportunity for adventure professionals with a company dedicated to providing safe, high quality experiences in an active environment.
Who does this role suit?
What we're looking for is energy, enthusiasm and an appetite for the job. We guarantee you'll be sailing, windsurfing and paddling throughout the summer and will leave fit, tanned and hungry for another Adventure. Some of our outstanding staff started with us as AI's. Ready to get stuck in?
Ideally, you'll have some experience of the water-sports we offer. It can be through personal interest or you could be newly qualified and looking to gain some experience before you take a lead role. We don't require you to have any National Governing Body awards but any qualifications you have will really strengthen your application. You must have a First Aid certificate valid for the duration of your contract.
