THE BUSHCRAFT COMPANY
The Bushcraft Company offers outdoors adventures to children aged 7-18 years old from May to October. Arriving at one of our safari-style tented camps, students will become fully enveloped in the wilderness, sleeping under the stars, and cooking over open fires. Whether they are learning first-aid techniques, building shelters or tackling a SOS scenario, our outdoor adventures are as real as you can get. You will look after absolutely everything during their stay, including providing 24-hour pastoral care for our students!
On every camp there’s a roaring campfire, where the students gather for talks and mealtimes between their jam packed programme of outdoors activities. The students will also have the chance to cook their own food, using traditional Bushcraft methods.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role involves managing a team of Tribe Leaders and a Field Cook, as well as the day-to-day responsibilities of running an inspiring residential camp. You will be looking after your camp through facilitating activities for students during their stay with us. We will teach you everything that you will need to know so that you can ensure our high standards, quality, pastoral care, safeguarding, health and safety are maintained throughout.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS.
- Be at least 18 years old.

- An ability to lead by example - you will be a role model for young people, ensuring they leave camp with positive memories that will last them a lifetime.
- An understanding of the importance of safeguarding.
