Queenstown, New Zealand
While having a fantastic season in France working as a Rep, I met and became friends with a bunch of Kiwi's who during the course of the seaosn convinced me to go down and do a season in Queenstown, NZ.
It seemed like a long way to go...but without any better plans I bought my ticket and headed off down under.
As soon as I got there, I knew I had made a brilliant decision. The skiing is a lot smaller than the big resorts in France, but the fun element is still there, and is still as big as ever.
The town is brilliant, fiendly fun filled and you don't want to leave.
I have skied at Coronet Peak, and The Remarkables since 1995, and I have been back every year.
I would recommend it to all keen skiers, golfers, mountain bikers, fishermen, hikers, trampers, fun lovers and anyone else who enjoys life.
