We have a full season of amazing weddings and the boutique hotel will host people from all over the world. The space is open, relaxing and fun. Being described as a ‘home away from home’ – We need people who are all rounded, confident, self-motivated and hard working to live on site and be involved across all levels within our new hotel in South West France. We are open to couples or individuals.
The day to day tasks will vary, but will be a mix of serving drinks by the pool, putting out breakfast, reception work, cleaning, hosting, setting up weddings & events as well as being involved in the complete running of a hotel. You will be able to learn about wine, food and the French culture along the way.
The hotel is set within 6 acres of gardens in the middle of the Cognac vineyards, there are 5 gites, and 7 further bedrooms, along with an outdoor, indoor swimming pool, intimate spa, hotel lounge and lots of outdoor seating areas. We have completely renovated the property to a high standard, the plan is to attract guests from all over the world and create amazing events throughout the summer as well as selling the venue for weddings.
We are 1 hr 20 mins from Bordeaux airport and 20 mins from Angouleme. This is a really exciting role for anyone who would like to know everything about running a small hotel.

Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience within in similar role
- Clean driving license
- Food and drink knowledge
- Friendly, approachable and flexible
- Well spoken, presentable and takes pride in their appearance
- Fluent English, French is a bonus
